Corning Elementary is committed to bringing unique learning opportunities to our students and we are pleased to introduce a free reading service providing digital books through Sora, the student reading app.

Why Sora?

The collection of titles in Sora is an extension of CUESD and Tehama County Public Library’s physical libraries, only it’s in an app with 24/7 access to ebooks. It’s convenient for students to check out titles at home, on the weekends or during school breaks with no worry about misplacing a book or running up late fees – these digital titles automatically return at the end of the lending period!

Sora can help students of all ages read more and improve comprehension. Struggling or reluctant readers, learning-challenged, second-language learners, and gifted readers can all benefit from this service.

How To Get Connected

In a browser visit https://soraapp.com/library/cuesdca. On a device, download the Sora app through the Google Play or Apple App stores and sign in with your CUESD google account.
Students will log in to Sora through CLEVER using their school username and password. If you experience login issues, please use Marketplace > Support to contact our Authentication Support team.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Add NorthNet Library System. This will expand digital and audio offerings to both teachers and students!
