Clever is a single sign-on digital learning platform for K12 schools.  When a student uses clever on their Chromebook, they have access to any learning program (Google, Sora, i-Ready, Tutor.com) with just one username and password.

In an effort to provide students and teachers with a range of effective tools for collaboration, creativity, and communication, all CUESD students and staff will have G Suite for Education. Along with email accounts, apps like Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Forms as well as Google Classroom are available in the CUESD domain.

 

 

Chromebooks are provided for all K-8 Corning Elementary students to use in their classrooms.  K-2 students are provided a Chromebook for their home and one that stays in the classroom.  This minimizes strain on the student and device going back and forth. Most students have their Chromebook stored at school to ensure they are charged and ready for the school day.  However, students are encouraged to take their devices home to support in their homework and/or academic support and then return with them, each school day, charged, and ready to go.  

 

At the beginning of each school year, through the online Data Confirmation process, parents complete an Internet-Technology Use Agreement Form.

 

 

Your student's teacher can assist should they need help with logging onto their Chromebook and accessing digital learning platforms.  if you need technical assistance for anything your student's teacher cannot assist with, contact the tech support team at helpdesk@cuesd.net or 530-824-7701, ext. 3517.  You will need to provide your student's school, grade, and asses tag # on the bottom of the Chromebook.
