Intradistrict Transfer Information
The Governing Board desires to provide enrollment options that meet the diverse needs and interests of district students and parents/guardians, while also maximizing the efficient use of district facilities and resources. Accordingly, the District office shall be charged with administering the transfer process.
In order to ensure that priorities for enrollment in district schools are implemented in accordance with law and Board policy, applications for intradistrict requests shall be submitted between April 1 - April 30 of the school year preceding the school year for which the transfer is requested.
The district is not obligated to provide transportation for students who attend another CUESD school through an Intradistrict Transfer Request.
Intradistrict Transfer Requests for the current school (2022-23) year are reviewed and processed based on grade/class sizes by the District Office. Schools within our district may be impacted due to late enrollments and/or class sizes. Parents will be notified as soon as possible.
2023-24 INTRADISTRCT TRANSFER REQUEST PERIOD
Intradistrict Transfer Requests for the 2023-24 school year can be requested from April 1 - April 30. Requests received after this time period will be placed on a waiting list with parents being notified as soon as all enrollment priorities have been applied and final decisions have been made.
Intradistrict Transfer requests are made by logging into the Aeries Parent Portal and requesting a school of choice
NOTE: The District is not obligated to provide transportation for students who attend another CUESD school through an Intradistrict Transfer.

Have You Moved?
If you have moved to a new address that is within a different CUESD school boundary, please provide your new verification of residency to either your current school office staff or the new school office staff. Students who move to another a different CUESD residence school, may or may not be able to attend the new school based on grade and class size. If students are unable to attend their new resident school, they will remain at their current school site through the remainder of the school year. They will then be enrolled at their resident school for the next school year. If this happens the school will request that the parents complete an Intradistrict Transfer Form for the remainder of the school year only.
If you have moved within the CUESD district boundary, and wish to request a transfer for your student to remain at his/her current school site for the remainder of the 2022-23 school year or longer, please submit an Intradistrict Transfer request via your parent portal.
