Mrs. Christina Morales
Mrs. Christina Morales comes to our Olive View Elementary School Library with nearly four years experience in the Corning Unified Elementary School District as a Paraprofessional at the Rancho Tehama Elementary School. She began her career as the Olive View Elementary Library Clerk in December 2008.
Christina entered the field of education after 25 years of military experience. She enjoys reading to students, and teaching them to enjoy the adventures they can have while reading books by their favorite authors. She looks forward to planting seeds of appreciation for literature. Christina’s favorite books are The Secret Garden and Gone With the Wind. Her favorite authors are John Grisham, Louis Lamor, and Mary Pope Osborne.
She enjoys visiting her grandchildren, playing her fiddle, reading, and sight-seeing. She is a member of the District 6 CSOTFA (California State Old Time Fiddle Association).

Mr. Garofalo normally works part-time during the school year on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 - 4 pm.
He manages the five elementary school libraries, computer labs, school websites, and is the Grants Coordinator for the CUESD.
He is the webmaster for the Corning Union Elementary School District.

Mike retired as a Library Administrator from the County of Los
Angeles Public Library in 1998.
Mike began work as the District Librarian for the CUESD in 1999.
He has worked as a
librarian, library manager, district or regional library administrator for over 44 years.
